Throwback signs on as new Official Apparel Partner

UTS Basketball is pleased to announce Throwback as the Club’s new Official Apparel Partner for 2020 and beyond.

Founded by Michael Lazaris in 2011, the idea of a small "pro-shop" to some friends and the concept was well-received, so with his pocket change and this vision, Throwback was born. The initial store was established at Michael’s local stadium in Alexandria (Sydney, Australia) where he grew up playing ball for the Sydney Comets. This fresh idea in Australian sports retail which valued convenience as the key feature, quickly became a basketball one-stop-shop and has since made dramatic impressions on basketball athletes around the country.

Fast forward to 2020 and Throwback are now making their mark on team apparel and expanding their range to from high schools, to club teams to now university teams. We are really excited to team up and see what is in store for the future! The new apparel will be revealed when UTS begin their pre - season for the University Basketball League (UBL) in March.
